Machete Tequila and Tacos was created and established in Denver in 2011. Our customers defined our vibe and our mission. They sought after the finest margaritas in the land and food that was created from the heart of Mexico City, DF. Machete is not bashful and loves to provide a place where everyone is welcome to “Get After It”. Dear Machete Heads,
For many years a substantial discrepancy has existed in compensation between Front of House workers and Back of House workers in the restaurant industry. Our goal is to continue offering an exceptional experience for our guests while attempting to narrow this gap. Due to the recent increases in minimum wage laws we have decided to add an Equitable Pay Surcharge of 3.5% to every check. The surcharge will help address the inequity of pay by allowing us to increase kitchen staff pay rates. Everyone in the restaurant industry is grappling with this problem. We would like to thank you for your continued support. We believe we have the best customers in the world!
